Job summary

Voy is hiring a driven junior or senior level pharmacist to join our team in Wallingford. This fast-paced role focuses on upholding our SOPs, maintaining compliance, and supporting the Superintendent Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager to run efficient pharmacy operations.

You will deputise in the manager's absence, check prescriptions, manage inventory, coordinate with the risk and safety teams, and contribute to service development and patient experience while training the workforce.

Qualifications

• Registered with the pharmacy regulator (GPhC).
• Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise.
• Passion for pharmacy and excellent customer care.
• Ability to collaborate with a team-centred approach.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and local services.
• Excellent face-to-face communication with customers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and Operational guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with practice standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Pharmacy procedures.
• Support the Superintendent Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager.
• Deputise for the Pharmacy Manager in their absence.
• Check dispensed prescriptions and manage orders with couriers.
• Manage near-misses and create action plans.
• Work with Risk and Safety to resolve incidents.
• Coordinate with Service and internal teams to dispatch orders timely.
• Contribute to service development and patient experience.
• Train and develop the Pharmacy workforce.
• Collaborate with the compounding team and supply chain for inventory.
