Southern Regional Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our hospital-based Pharmacy Team. You will oversee medication dispensing, safety and collaborate with clinicians across departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold a state Pharmacist license, have hospital pharmacy experience, and possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or higher. BLS/ACLS certification is preferred, and APhA immunization certification is encouraged.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
