Job summary

Southern Regional Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our hospital-based Pharmacy Team. You will oversee medication dispensing, safety and collaborate with clinicians across departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold a state Pharmacist license, have hospital pharmacy experience, and possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree or higher. BLS/ACLS certification is preferred, and APhA immunization certification is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
• APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure patient safety in all aspects of medication use.
• Serve patients across General Medicine, Intensive Care, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.
