Paris Regional Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacist to join our full-time team in Paris, TX. The pharmacist will prepare and dispense medications, supervise pharmacy technicians, and ensure safe and accurate drug therapy for patients.

This role supports the healthcare team with pharmacological expertise and contributes to positive patient outcomes. The position requires an active Texas pharmacist license, at least 1 year of inpatient hospital experience (preferred), and familiarity with

• Active Texas pharmacist license (TX) - active and unrestricted.
• At least 1 year inpatient hospital experience preferred.
• Omnicell and Meditech experience preferred.
• Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.

Responsabilidades

• Review and interpret physician medication orders for accuracy, dosage and patient safety.
• Prepare and dispense prescribed medications according to professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support staff in day-to-day functions.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and identify potential adverse reactions.
• Provide drug information to physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate records of all controlled substances and monitor compliance.
• Ensure that medication storage and dispensing complies with infection control, safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, etc as required.
• Perform quality assurance checks and participate in departmental audits.
• Precept college of pharmacy students.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday: 0900-2130

Saturday and Sunday: 0700-1730

Position Summary

The pharmacist is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, overseeing pharmacy technicians and ensuring the accuracy and safety of all drug therapy provided to patients. • Holds an active Texas pharmacist license (TX) - active and unrestricted
• Possesses at least 1 year of inpatient hospital experience (preferred)
