Job description

About the Position: Hours of operation include working hours between 0700 to 1715, Monday through Friday. The position is located in a Defense Health Agency (DHA) outpatient pharmacy within a Military Treatment Facility. The pharmacy provides pharmaceutical services to eligible beneficiaries in a patient-centered healthcare environment that requires accuracy, efficiency, teamwork, and a strong commitment to medication safety and customer service.

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Basic Requirement for Pharmacist

Education: 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree, Ph.D., Pharm.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.

Exemption

You are exempt from the basic requirement above if you are a current federal employee occupying a position in the 0660 occupational series and have been continuously employed in this occupational series since September 27, 2017 or before. Note: You will be required to provide appropriate documentation to the respective Human Resources Office to validate your status.

Licensure

A current, active, valid, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, a territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia.

Medical Requirement

Must be able to distinguish basic colors.
