The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking a Pharmacist for our Inpatient Pharmacy Department in New Britain, CT. The role emphasizes comprehensive pharmaceutical care, medication verification, and clinical guidance within a dynamic hospital setting.

Education includes a Bachelor's in Pharmacy with PharmD preferred; CT licensure is required or anticipated. Prior hospital or long-term care experience is preferred, and strong customer service skills are essential.

In this essential role, the pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmacy services in a dynamic hospital setting, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for all patients. As a key member of the healthcare team, the pharmacist is responsible for verifying medication orders, offering clinical guidance, and supporting optimal pharmacotherapy through collaboration with providers, nurses, and other care team members.

The pharmacist will provide care across a variety of clinical settings, including but not limited to critical care, emergency medicine, neonatology, and general medicine. This role also supports the daily operational activities of the pharmacy department.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PharmD preferred

Experience/Licensure Requirements:

• Current CT Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital or long term care experience highly preferred
• Excellent customer service and communications skills
