Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Pharmacist in Moorestown, New Jersey to provide pharmaceutical care and support medication fulfillment for patients with chronic and complex healthcare needs. Responsibilities include review and dispensing of prescriptions, patient education, and supervision of Pharmacy Technicians.

The role requires an active pharmacist license in good standing, 2+ years in pharmacy distribution/packaging, and strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program with a current, active pharmacist license/registration in good standing in the state where practice will occur.
• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging, including some exposure to geriatrics and/or chronic care management.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare/compound, and provide final approval of prescription orders, ensuring medications are accurately dispensed, packaged, and labeled.
• Provide pharmaceutical care by reviewing medication requests and refills, identifying medication-related concerns, and making recommendations to healthcare providers as appropriate.
• Serve as a point of contact for patients, families, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals regarding medications and pharmacotherapy-related questions.
• Educate patients on medication use, potential side effects, contraindications, and applicable care plan options.
• Oversee Pharmacy Technicians supporting medication reconciliation, physician order entry, inventory management, labeling, and packaging.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to patient care decisions, medication fulfillment, billing, recordkeeping, and medication shipments.
• Ensure pharmacy practices remain compliant with applicable state and federal regulations, internal policies, and established procedures.

Position Overview: We are seeking a Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care and support medication fulfillment for patients with chronic and complex healthcare needs. This role combines prescription review and dispensing, patient and provider communication, medication management, and oversight of Pharmacy Technicians, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong technical and computer skills with the ability to navigate pharmacy software.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Experience or a strong interest in clinical pharmacogenomics is preferred.

Schedule & Additional Information

Schedule: Full-time; 11:00a - 7:30p EST.

Pay Range: $62-$65/hour.

Location: Moorestown, New Jersey.

Position includes interaction with patients, families, healthcare providers, and other pharmacy professionals.
