Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Professional for a 13-week assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment and is comfortable working across a broad range of pharmacy responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, accurate, and effective medication use for patients in a rural healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Review, verify, and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders

Ensure accuracy and safety in medication preparation and distribution

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Provide drug information and education to patients and clinical staff

Monitor patient medication therapies and identify potential drug interactions

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and safety standards

Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking medications

Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance

Perform additional pharmacy-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy setting preferred

Ability to work variable shifts and adapt to scheduling needs

Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare setting

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy systems

Strong clinical knowledge across a wide range of therapeutic areas
