Seven Healthcare is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire assignment in Greensburg, PA. This travel position requires the 2nd shift, with a rotating schedule from 3pm to 11pm and availability seven days a week.

You will dispense prescriptions, monitor patient safety, advise on medications, and collaborate with physicians and nurses in a dynamic health-system environment. A Doctor of Pharmacy degree and state licensure are required.

Responsibilities

• Accept and dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns
• Ensure that the supply and prescription of medicines are lawful and suitable
• Accurately maintain confidential records of patients
• Advise patients on medicines, including usage and potential reactions
• Provide consultation on medication storage, dosage, side effects, and interactions
• Offer patient services like smoking cessation and cholesterol management
• Educate patients on medical device usage
• Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as required
• Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks
• Maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
• Identify and communicate drug-related problems to healthcare practitioners
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists
