Job summary

Goshen Health is seeking a pharmacist to join our hospital team. You will review, interpret, and verify medication orders, and collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians, nurses, and providers to optimize medication use and patient care.

You will dispense medications, verify compounding accuracy, and act as a resource for clinical guidance within our Magnet-designated hospital setting, contributing to a strong work-life balance and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Preferred Experience: Experience preferable; a new graduate who has completed an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) as part of the academic program is acceptable.
• Certifications Required: Current license as a registered pharmacist issued by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and enter/verify medication orders.
• Assess and implement clinical opportunities to optimize medication use.
• Serve as a medication resource for other healthcare professionals including nursing and providers.
• Dispense medication and verify accurate compounding and distribution of medications by Pharmacy Technicians.
