Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Review, verify, and dispense medications per orders and hospital protocols.
  • Provide clinical oversight for medication use, including dosing adjustments and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal pharmacotherapy.
  • Counsel patients and families on proper medication use and adherence.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-drivenPharmacistto joinour team. The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring safe,effective, and evidence-based pharmaceutical care in compliance with federaland state regulations, hospital policies, and clinical best practices. Thisrole plays a key part in optimizing medication therapy, supporting clinicalteams, and enhancing patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities


  • Review,verify, and dispense medications in accordance with prescribed orders andhospital protocols.

  • Provideclinical oversight for medication use, including dosing adjustments,therapeutic drug monitoring, and adverse event prevention.

  • Collaboratewith physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensureoptimal pharmacotherapy and patient safety.

  • Counselpatients and families on proper medication use, side effects, andadherence strategies.

  • Maintainaccurate pharmacy records and comply with all Board of Pharmacy andregulatory requirements.

  • Participatein quality improvement initiatives, formulary reviews, and staff educationprograms.

  • Staycurrent on clinical developments, emerging drug therapies, and bestpractices in pharmacy care.


Requirements

Qualifications


  • Doctorof Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
