Job summary

NeighborHealth is seeking per diem pharmacists to provide flexible coverage at the 10 Gove Street - Taylor Building location in Massachusetts. This role supports scheduled absences, extended hours, and varying patient volume across community health settings.

You will verify and dispense prescriptions accurately under Massachusetts regulations, counsel patients, and collaborate with providers and nursing staff to optimize care.

Responsibilities

• Verifying and dispensing prescriptions accurately and in compliance with Massachusetts pharmacy regulations.
• Providing patient counseling, medication education, and clinical support to promote medication adherence and positive health outcomes.
• Collaborating with providers, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Supporting pharmacy operations, including workflow management, documentation, inventory oversight, and quality assurance activities.
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards and contributing to a positive patient experience.
• Demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work across various clinic and community health center pharmacy settings as needed.

Position Summary:

Per diem pharmacists at Neighborhealth play a critical role in maintaining continuity of pharmacy services and supporting high-quality patient care. These pharmacists provide flexible coverage for scheduled absences, vacancies, extended hours, and fluctuations in patient volume while ensuring safe and efficient medication management. Key expectations include:

• Verifying and dispensing prescriptions accurately and in compliance with Massachusetts pharmacy regulations.
• Providing patient counseling, medication education, and clinical support to promote medication adherence and positive health outcomes.
• Collaborating with providers, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Supporting pharmacy operations, including workflow management, documentation, inventory oversight, and quality assurance activities.
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards and contributing to a positive patient experience.
• Demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work across various clinical and community health center pharmacy settings as needed.

Salary Range:

$61.50/hr. up to $84.15/hr.
