Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Staff Pharmacist in Texas to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, counsel patients, and ensure accurate drug distribution within the pharmacy. You will fill orders, monitor therapies, and support staff in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Licensed Texas pharmacist with a Pharm.D. preferred will join our team to maintain high standards of patient safety and care, with potential to cover Director duties when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required.
• Licensed to practice in Texas (Pharmacist license required).
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and patient counseling.
• Fill medication orders and monitor patient drug therapies.
• Supervise and direct supportive pharmacy staff.
• In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, assume essential Director duties.

Responsibilities

Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching. Staff Pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patient’s drug therapies and provide drug information. Staff pharmacist supervises and directs supportive staff. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Director of Pharmacy.
