Job summary

Samaritan Health Services is seeking a Pharmacist to perform duties as prescribed by state and federal statutes as well as SHS policies. You will prepare and dispense medications and assess the clinical status of patients across all ages. You will provide drug information to the medical team and educate patients about their medications.

Join the Pharmacy team at Samaritan Health Services to optimize drug therapy for diverse populations. The role includes a 7 on/7 off schedule with 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

Oregon Pharmacist licensure required.
Pre-employment drug screen required.

Job Summary/Purpose

Performs the duties of Pharmacist as prescribed by state and federal statutes as well as SHS policies. Prepares and dispenses medication; assesses clinical status of patients (neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics). Provides drug information to the medical team. Educates patients.

Experience / Education / Qualifications

Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required.
Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
All job offers are contingent upon the candidate passing a pre-employment/post offer drug screen.
GSR Pharmacy:
- If responsible for participating on the pharmacy code response team, then Healthcare Provider Level BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required within 90 days of hire.
