Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, Pennsylvania is seeking a per diem Pharmacist to join the hospital pharmacy team, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care and patient safety across services including general medicine, ICU, obstetrics, pediatrics and emergency care.

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, you will coordinate daily pharmacy operations, maintain compliance with immunization and safety standards, and support staff with drug information and patient counseling.

Formación

• Pharmacist license in good standing in the state.
• Hospital pharmacy operations experience preferred.
• Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy degree; PharmD preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Lower Bucks Hospital is a community hospital, serving the Lower Bucks County region with medical, surgical, and emergency care. Located in historic Bristol, Pennsylvania, the Hospital is well-known for its knowledgeable medical staff, including cardiology, orthopedics, radiology, wound care, and general surgery. The hospital has more than 200 physicians on staff, as well as another 700 employees.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
• B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Facility Specific Requirements (as Applicable Required)

• APhA Immunization Certification and BLS required.
