Job summary

NeighborHealth in Boston seeks a licensed pharmacist to dispense prescriptions and provide counseling on side effects, interactions, and safe usage. You will guide customers through dosage instructions and ensure medications are used correctly.

All Locations: 10 Gove Street - Taylor Building

Position Summary

The pharmacist dispenses prescription medication along with key information such as side effects, contraindications with other medicines, and a range of other concerns. They also walk customers through their physician's dosage and usage instructions to ensure medications are safely and effectively consumed. All other tasks as needed.

Education

BS degree in Pharmacy required. PharmD degree helpful. Valid license to practice as pharmacist in MA. Obtain CE credits needed for license renewal as required.

Experience

Previous experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of contemporary outpatient pharmacy systems, general clinical knowledge, and expertise in traditional therapeutics and patient‑centered care.
  • Excellent comprehension of written policies and procedures.
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions, develop and complete follow‑up actions.
  • Ability to motivate and direct staff.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
  • Attention to detail and organizational ability.

Salary

Starting at $127,920 up to $205,920 based on experience and background.
