Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist to join our hospital-based care team. You will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring safe, effective medication use in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

The ideal candidate holds a BS or PharmD, Maryland licensure, and is committed to continuing education and patient-centered care in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a BS or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience for a minimum of one year preferred, but not required.
• Must be licensed as a registered Pharmacist in Maryland and maintain all necessary continuing education credits and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to Mercy Medical Center patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Ensure medication safety, accuracy, and optimal therapy in collaboration with the care team.

Responsibilities

The role of the pharmacist is to provide pharmaceutical care to Mercy Medical Center patients, in compliance with federal, state, and professional mandates, as well as hospital and department policies and procedures. The population served by the pharmacist consists of inpatients and outpatients, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements
