Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a licensed pharmacist to evaluate, design, implement, and monitor patient-specific pharmacotherapy within a hospital setting.
The role provides clinical support to healthcare teams, ensures proper medication preparation, storage, and delivery, and collaborates with the Clinical Coordinator, Supervisors, and Director of Pharmacy on system-wide medication management initiatives.
Summary:
A pharmacist who has earned a B.S.Pharm. or Pharm.D. degree and is licensed to practice as a pharmacist in Arkansas will evaluate, recommend, design, implement, monitor, and/or modify patient-specific pharmacotherapy. The pharmacist will provide clinical assistance to other healthcare professionals. The pharmacist will ensure proper preparation, storage, and delivery of medications. The pharmacist will also assist the Clinical Coordinator, Supervisors, and Director of Pharmacy in hospital and/or system-wide medication management initiatives on an ongoing basis.
Other information:
Graduate of an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree preferred. Active license to practice Pharmacy from the Arkansas Board of Pharmacy (in good standing). Completion of ASHP accredited PGY-1 Residency program preferred. Eligible to precept ippe and/or APPE students from ACPE accredited Colleges of Pharmacy.
This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
