Job Overview

The Pharmaceutical Sales Representative – Diabetes/Endocrinology is responsible for achieving sales objectives within the assigned territory, aligning with Xeris’s corporate goals. Reporting to the Regional Business Director (RBD), the PSR will develop and execute strategic and tactical business plans to meet and exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver on corporate objectives specific to the territory.
  2. Develop and implement territory and account-level business plans, collaborating with RBD and internal teams.
  3. Provide timely recommendations to overcome marketplace barriers.
  4. Work with various teams to develop strategies ensuring patient access to Xeris products.
  5. Manage territory budget and resources effectively.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
  7. Represent Xeris professionally and ethically to external and internal audiences.
  8. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences, Business/Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in field commercial roles or 5+ years in bioscience-related sales/marketing roles.
  • Experience in bioscience and/or diabetes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to develop and adapt business plans to meet goals.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to improve performance.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed; travel at least 20%.
Additional Information

Salary range: $85,000 to $130,000, plus commission, equity, and benefits. Equal opportunity employer. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
