Job summary

Catalent, Inc. in Greenville, NC, seeks a Pharmaceutical Technician I to perform GMP manufacturing in an oral solid dose environment, including dispensing, compounding, compressing, encapsulating, coating, and printing with minimal supervision.

You will assemble, disassemble, clean, and store equipment and help troubleshoot while documenting activities per SOPs and FDA cGMP. The role is on-site, Monday–Friday, 2nd shift, requiring adherence to safety guidelines and accurate batch documentation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with applicable experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Associate degree with experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Internal forklift operation certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform GMP manufacturing operations in an oral solid dose environment, including dispensing, compounding, compressing, encapsulating, coating, and printing, with minimal supervision.
  • Assemble, disassemble, clean and store manufacturing equipment.
  • Assist with troubleshooting machinery and equipment and recommend corrective or preventative measures.
  • Ensure all batch records and logbook entries are accurately documented and compliant with SOPs and FDA cGMP guidelines.
  • With minimal supervision, conduct setup, changeover, and manufacturing activities with adherence to SOPs and safety requirements.
  • All Other Duties as assigned.

Position Summary

We have an opportunity for a Pharmaceutical Technician I to join our team. In this role, you will perform GMP manufacturing operations in an oral solid dose environment, including dispensing, compounding, compressing, encapsulating, coating, and printing, with minimal supervision. You will assemble, disassemble, clean, and store manufacturing equipment, assist with troubleshooting, and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with SOPs and FDA cGMP guidelines. You will also conduct setup, changeover, and manufacturing activities while adhering to safety requirements.

Shift: M- F, 2nd Shift

Location: Grenville, NC

100% Onsite

The Role

The Candidate
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical oral solid dose manufacturing.
  • Associate degree with at least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical oral solid dose manufacturing.
  • Required to obtain internal forklift operation certification.
