Description

Join Syneos Health as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) and become part of a fast-paced, challenging environment where our compassion and dedication drive us to meet the unique needs and goals of our customers. The PSR role is responsible for building relationships with recognized experts, healthcare providers (HCPs), and prioritized stakeholders. This role will be integrated with a large biopharmaceutical company and work alongside company team members. Daily coaching and direction will be provided by client managers in partnership with the Syneos FTM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and/or exceed targeted sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan to maximize sales.
  • Identify key influencers and meet customer interaction expectations, focusing on top target customers.
  • Plan and organize activities to ensure regular and consistent territory coverage according to a plan of action.
  • Deliver clinical brand-specific presentations of products to physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare delivery system within each assigned customer, including physician hierarchy, pharmacy personnel, and clinical staff.
  • Develop deep product and competitor knowledge, understanding of local and regional market trends.
  • Analyze local trends, set long- and short-term goals, and craft a strong product business plan.
  • Collaborate with peers, brand teams, and support partners to deliver excellent customer experiences.
  • Manage territory budget to support sales and marketing activities.
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly.
  • Implement the company’s brand strategy within the assigned geographic area.
  • Participate in training and development programs.
  • Maintain adherence to all corporate, industry policies, and procedures.

Essential Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree required; Life Sciences preferred.
  • Sales experience (internship, B2B, or pharma).
  • Ability to identify key decision-makers, develop positive relationships, and demonstrate customer dedication.
  • Ability to learn, apply, and communicate product and disease state knowledge.
  • Proven success in exceeding results.
  • Team player capable of working independently, highly collaborative, motivated to succeed.
  • Strong communication, business analytics, and account management skills.
  • Must reside within or near the territory boundaries.

Desired Requirements:

  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience selling SGLT2 or GLP1 for diabetes.
  • Business B2B sales experience or internship, or a sales degree.
