Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR)

Join Syneos Health as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative (PSR) and become part of a fast-paced, challenging environment where our compassion and dedication meet the unique needs of our customers. The PSR role involves building relationships with recognized experts, healthcare providers (HCPs), and key stakeholders. This position will be integrated with a large biopharmaceutical company, working alongside company team members. Daily coaching and guidance will be provided by client managers in partnership with the Syneos FTM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and/or exceed sales targets within an assigned territory by developing and executing an effective business plan focused on key accounts.
  • Identify key influencers and engage with top target customers to build strong relationships.
  • Plan and organize activities to ensure consistent coverage of the territory.
  • Deliver product presentations to physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Understand the healthcare delivery system within each customer’s environment.
  • Develop deep knowledge of products, competitors, and market trends.
  • Analyze local market trends to inform strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with peers, brand teams, and support partners to enhance customer experience.
  • Manage territory budget for sales and marketing activities.
  • Complete administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Implement company branding strategies within the assigned area.
  • Participate in training and development programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all policies and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree required; Life Sciences preferred.
  • Experience in sales (internship, B2B, or pharma).
  • Ability to identify decision-makers and develop positive relationships.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and account management skills.
  • Must reside within or near the territory.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Over 2 years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience selling SGLT2 or GLP1 for diabetes.
  • Previous B2B sales or internship experience.
