Job description

Our Pharmaceutical client has engaged us to provide a full-time Contractor to support the field sales team in the area of Field Reporting. The analyst is responsible for supporting the development of programs that motivate the sales force and drive results.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Manager of Field Reporting, Commercial Operations & Reporting Sr. Analysts to guide business requirements and communicate them to developers and testers.
  2. Assist the Manager of Field Reporting in executing the vision for Field Reporting, including overseeing Proof of Concept/Pilot projects.
  3. Assist in designing and developing the Wizard Field Reporting platform.
  4. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of enhancements.
  5. Understand upstream processes impacting the Field Reporting Tool.
  6. Utilize ticketing systems like JIRA.
  7. Support upper management in field sales and IT regarding data-related issues, including system bugs.
  8. Contribute to optimizing field reporting data delivery, speed, and efficiency.
  9. Assist in training, documenting processes, and standardizing field reports and analytics for sales forces and internal users.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device industry.
  2. Strong understanding of syndicated data sources, such as IQVIA, and experience with the pharmaceutical sales process.
  3. Ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights, working effectively with upper management in sales and IT.
  4. Familiarity with data warehouse systems and interconnectivities.
  5. Background in statistics, analysis, or sales operations is advantageous.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  7. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong project management experience, with 5-7 years of Pharmaceutical or Medical Device experience.
  9. Proficiency in MS Office, with analytical skills.
  10. Familiarity with SAS, data warehouses, and Salesforce.com (Veeva).
  11. Previous experience in Finance, Math (Statistics & Analysis), or Sales Measurement/Sales Operations is preferred.
  12. Knowledge of data training methodologies.
  13. Experience working with field sales and IT teams.
