Position: Territory Manager - Washington DC (CMH2 170959)

The Territory Manager will be responsible for account-based selling to healthcare providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence treatment for diseases within the Lilly portfolio. This includes engaging with various HCP specialties and hospital account representatives. The role involves acting as a credible resource supporting all medicines and appropriate patient care, driving results through Lilly’s sales and account management models, and building relationships to promote medicine utilization and adoption.

Responsibilities:

  1. Business Ownership: Promote the full portfolio, understand the marketplace, tailor strategies, navigate healthcare environment changes, utilize data and analytics, adopt new technologies, and identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
  2. Selling Skills / Customer Experience: Use Lilly’s sales and competency models, understand disease states, promote the portfolio, and engage in patient-centered dialogues.
  3. Execution / Results: Promote across portfolios and specialties, achieve sales targets, own customer relationships, and foster trust and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Professional certification or license as required by state
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Legal authorization to work in the US; sponsorship not anticipated

Preferred Skills:

  • Business ownership, selling, and execution skills
  • Account-based selling experience
  • Strong learning agility, motivation, teamwork, and emotional intelligence
  • Bilingual abilities as needed
  • Residence within 30 miles of the territory boundary

Compensation for this role ranges from $63,000 to $138,600 annually, depending on experience and location. Employees are eligible for bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including 401(k), health insurance, paid time off, and well-being programs. Lilly reserves the right to modify compensation and benefits policies as needed.
