The Learning Creator is a creative, forward-thinking professional with exceptional execution skills to support the growth of our client's Learning & Development (L&D) Organization. You will join a dedicated team that creates best-in-class learning experiences for their commercial organization. Your responsibilities will include combining technical skills, creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to creating engaging learning experiences across various modalities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, learner-centric materials such as learning modules, interactive courses, workshops (in-person/virtual), assessments, pull-through materials, multimedia content, and possibly podcasts or video scripts.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to understand learning objectives, design processes, timelines, and deployment requirements to create effective learning solutions aligned with business outcomes.
- Use authoring tools, PowerPoint, and desktop publishing tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Xyleme, MS PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Publisher, Kahoot) to produce learning content.
- Apply instructional design, graphic design, technical expertise, and user experience principles to optimize course structure for learning outcomes.
- Test and ensure functionality and usability across devices and platforms, resolving any technical issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance learning strategies.
- Support the approval process by responding to feedback from Medical, Legal, and Regulatory teams, ensuring compliance.
- Manage the end-to-end creation of learning deliverables, including quality assurance, content packaging, and uploading to learning systems.
Requirements
Along with demonstrated initiative, integrity, and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Learning or Instructional Technology preferred.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in a learning & development environment.
- Highly skilled in content creation with strong writing skills for diverse modalities and audiences.
- Experience with authoring software like Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise), Adobe Captivate, and other learning technologies to create videos, podcasts, infographics, interactive PDFs, etc.
- Understanding of learning and development principles.
- Strong communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Life sciences/pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.
- High learning agility and attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operationalize and scale processes.
- Open to remote work with approximately 10% domestic travel required.
