Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Warehouse Technician, Mid-Level to support the Warehouse Manager in Omaha. The role involves organizing workloads, assigning tasks, and monitoring workflow while operating forklifts and moving goods safely across the facility.

Candidates should have 5–7 years of warehouse experience, a current forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one), and strong attention to detail. Proficiency with inventory software and MS Office is preferred to ensure accurate recording

Qualifications

• Must have forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
• 5–7 years of experience directly in a warehouse.
• Knowledge of OSHA forklift operation regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to record stock and inventories accurately.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and warehouse software.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver forklifts safely in busy industrial environments.
• Safely stack and unstack large quantities of goods into racks or pallets.
• Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
• Unload deliveries and relocate goods to storage areas.
• Keep forklift areas clean and free from hazards.
• Inspect equipment for faults or damages and report issues.
• Record lot numbers, dates and quantities accurately.
• Coordinate with Quality Control for load sampling.
• Receive, ship, and transfer material within inventory software.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
