Job summary

Nemera is seeking a production/material handler to support packaging and material movement in a clean manufacturing environment in Buffalo Grove, IL. The role requires operating forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining accurate material documentation, and assisting with inventory control.

The position emphasizes strict adherence to GMP, safety procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. The shift runs 12 hours from 6am to 6pm, with potential for line clearance and upkeep of equipment

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong math, reading, and communication skills required.
Certified to operate fork truck, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
Respond to alarms, identify, and troubleshoot issues.
Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and handcart.
Maintain proper documentation for materials, including batches, material changes, and material locations.
Assist with physical inventory and perform cycle counts.
Plan material and color changes according to production schedule.
Report any out of line conditions or damaged equipment to Supervisor or Maintenance.
