Afton Scientific is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate I to join the Materials team in Virginia. This role supports manufacturing by receiving, inspecting, storing, and moving materials, while helping maintain accurate inventory and efficient warehouse operations.

We value organization, hands-on work, and a drive to develop experience within Afton’s Supply Chain. Compensation is $19.00–$24.00 per hour with placement based on qualifications and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against documentation.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
• Complete required receiving and release documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform incoming material release checks and tray tests.
• Store and organize materials efficiently.
• Perform inventory transactions and system transfers.
• Conduct cycle counts and participate in physical inventories.
• Deliver packages and support internal material movement.
• Load, unload and move materials using warehouse equipment.
• Ensure materials are received, stored and shipped safely and accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and loading dock areas.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities within warehousing operations.
