Job summary

Afton Scientific, LLC in Virginia is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate I to join the Materials team. This role supports manufacturing by receiving, inspecting, storing, and moving materials and maintaining inventory accuracy.

You'll operate forklifts and pallet jacks, perform cycle counts, document transactions, and help with continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse and supply chain operations. On-site, full-time role with hourly compensation of $19.00–$24.00.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against documentation.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
• Complete receiving and release documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform incoming material release checks and related tasks.
• Store and organize materials efficiently and safely.
• Conduct inventory transactions, releases, and system transfers.
• Perform cycle counts and participate in physical inventories.
• Deliver packages and support internal material movement throughout the facility.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and loading dock areas.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities in warehouse operations.
