Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Associate Production Operator / Pharmaceutical Rework Technician in Clayton, NC to support a short-term pharmaceutical rework project focused on pen devices. You will manually remove labels, inspect devices, and document activities while adhering to cGMP and SOPs in a fully onsite facility.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability for a rotating shift (6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 2-2-3), and the ability to work in a quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions, SOPs, and standardized procedures.
• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods in manufacturing/production.
• Frequent use of hands to remove labels from pen devices.
• Maintain concentration during repetitive tasks.
• Reliability and punctuality for rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manually peel and remove labels from pharmaceutical pen devices per work instructions and SOPs.
• Inspect devices before and after label removal to meet quality standards.
• Document completed work and production activities per protocols.
• Follow GMP, quality guidelines, and SOPs throughout rework process.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in a manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with team by communicating work status and issues.
