Slalom seeks a Pharma R&D Data & AI Strategist to translate ambitious scientific, business, data, and AI strategies into measurable R&D outcomes. You will collaborate with senior R&D leaders, scientists, and technology partners to modernize how data and AI enable discovery and development of new therapies.

You will work across Life Sciences, Data & AI, Strategy, and Technology to move from fragmented data to scalable enterprise capabilities, including governance and data products, across

Competenze

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences R&D, or consulting to R&D organizations.
• Deep understanding of the pharma R&D lifecycle with emphasis on Research & Discovery and/or Clinical Development.
• Experience working with Research and/or Clinical data and regulated data.
• Ability to translate strategy into data products, MVPs, and roadmaps.
• Strong executive communication and workshop facilitation skills.

• Develop Data & AI strategies for pharmaceutical R&D, linking scientific priorities to actionable roadmaps.
• Partner with R&D leaders to identify high-value Data & AI opportunities based on impact, value, feasibility, data readiness, and risk.
• Shape Data & AI strategies across target identification, disease biology, translational science, and clinical development.
• Help clients unlock value from Research and Clinical data and translate outcomes into data products and governance.
• Define domain-oriented data product strategies and operating models to enable scalable analytics.
• Design AI-ready data foundations and data governance to support enterprise capabilities.
