Job summary

Aurolife is seeking a Chemist-C to perform QC testing and ensure the strength, identity and purity of samples using established procedures. You will work with a team to execute bench-level analyses and mentor newer analysts.

The role requires a BS in a scientific field and 4–6 years in pharmaceuticals, with 3–5 years in analytical testing; familiarity with Empower and LIMS is preferred. This is an on-site QC position with comprehensive benefits in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMP, good documentation practices and regulatory expectations.
• Ability to learn quickly with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with Empower and LIMS systems.
• 2-4 years experience handling OOS investigations.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, tests and assays on materials using USP / in-house methods.
• Plan inventory of reagents and ensure supplies for testing.
• Plan and execute testing to meet established timelines.
• Document data clearly and maintain records.
• Review test procedures, SOPs, and protocols.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Troubleshoot investigations under supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior chemists and act as role model.
