Strive Pharmacy is an on-site employer in Leesburg, VA, seeking a Quality Assurance/Compliance Technician to ensure site-specific quality controls and document reviews in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement is a High School Diploma/GED with work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a quality or manufacturing department of a Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Allied Health Science.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical QA practices and GMP standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspection for defects, leaks, and particulates.
• Environmental monitoring of personnel (as needed) and complete documentation.
• Assist in media fill process validations to include inspection of filled units.
• Review documentation of compounding activities such as cleaning records, line clearance forms, and inventory sheets.
• Maintain equipment calibration and maintenance records.
• Assist with raw material release and movement.
• Under supervision, document and initiate quality events for deviation investigations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Participate in Quality Manager’s staff meetings.
