Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Project Manager I for our Pharma Solutions division in Lexington. You will serve as the primary interface with clients for development projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing scope, timelines, and budgets.

Reporting to the Director of Project Management, you will ensure client expectations are met, negotiate scope changes, and maintain detailed project documentation while upholding cGMP and FDA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in applicable scientific field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of Project Management experience desired.
• Minimum two years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred; contract manufacturing or CRO experience
• Good working knowledge of cGMP Guidelines and FDA regulations
• Proficient with SmartSheet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive with stakeholders
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle stressful situations
• Detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external clients throughout the manufacturing process.
• Lead role in determining specific client requirements.
• Ensure client expectations are managed and met.
• Negotiate acceptance of scope changes with client.
• Manage project scope, timeline and budget of multiple complex projects.
• Coordinate communications with clients to maintain positive relationships.
• Maintain detailed meeting minutes and distribute them as needed.
• Establish realistic timelines and milestones with project teams.
• Identify scope creep and document scope changes with input from relevant groups.
• Develop project risk management plans and monitor risks.
• Coordinate with Finance to obtain project financials and close-out.
• Report essential project metrics and escalate issues to management.
• Assist in department standardization and provide training as required.
