Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions in Lexington, KY, is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex development and manufacturing programs for global clients. You will serve as the primary interface with customers, coordinating cross‑functional teams to drive scope, schedule, and budget.

Reporting to the Director of Project Management, you will manage risks, negotiate changes, and ensure adherence to cGMP and FDA guidelines while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering on project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of Project Management experience desired.
• 2+ years pharmaceutical industry experience preferred; CRO/CMO experience desirable.
• Proficient with SmartSheet, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proactive with stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and timelines.
• Understanding of cGMP and FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the manufacturing process.
• Lead role in determining specific client requirements.
• Ensure client expectations are managed and met.
• Negotiate acceptance of scope changes with client.
• Manage project scope, critical path, timeline and budget of multiple complex projects.
• Manage communications with clients via calls and meetings for a positive relationship.
• Maintain detailed meeting minutes and share as appropriate.
• Establish realistic timelines/goals with project teams.
• Identify scope creep and create change documents with input from stakeholders.
• Identify problems early and renegotiate commitments when needed.
• Develop project risk management plans.
• Coordinate with Finance to obtain project financials and close-out.
• Establish and report project metrics and elevate risks to management.
• Manage revenue forecast for projects and invoice notifications.
• Communicate client needs to the project team and ensure feasible commitments.
• Coordinate with business development to provide information for project kickoff.
• Schedule and facilitate team meetings; elevate communication appropriately.
• Motivate and mentor team members to achieve goals.
• Lead projects in alignment with Lexington policies and FDA guidelines.
• Assist in department standardization and provide training as needed.
