Job summary

Datwyler in the United States (New York) seeks a Production Operator for the Moulding & Trimming Department in a GMP-driven pharmaceutical packaging environment. You will operate manual and semi-automatic compression moulding/trimming machines to produce moulded sheets from preform rubber compounds and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, WI’s, productivity, and teamwork. The shift is 12:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and write English to understand operating procedures and complete documentation.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic skills.
• Performs basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment in GMP environment.
• Follow SOPs and WI’s to ensure productivity and quality.
• Maintain clean, safe and organized work area; report safety issues.
• Support training of new operators and trainees as requested.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
