Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a Process Production Engineer for the Riverview facility to optimize equipment performance, prevent failures, and implement preventive/predictive maintenance systems. You will develop and execute maintenance strategies aligned with FDA/EPA/OSHA requirements and drive improvements across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and a minimum of 3 years of related experience, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor equipment reliability and implement improvements.
• Maintain system classifications and prepare operating manuals and OQ docs.
• Ensure critical spares are in place and perform risk-based spare analysis.
• Research and evaluate new equipment for facility use.
• Prepare SOPs detailing operation, maintenance, and cleaning.
• Translate RCCM data to support Autonomous Maintenance; train operations.
• Review calibration documentation and maintain calibration SOPs.
• Manage risk to meet safety, asset, quality, and production goals.
• Conduct risk analyses when equipment deviates from parameters.
• Develop life-cycle metrics (TCO, MTBF, MTTR) for critical equipment.
• Lead process improvement projects from design to implementation.
• Execute change controls and coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with departments to integrate reliability and qualification.
• Participate in qualification and validation of equipment and processes.
