Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Automation PLC/SCADA Engineer for a hands-on, mid-level role in New Jersey. You will support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations with a strong PLC/SCADA background and troubleshoot automated equipment on the production floor in a GMP setting.

The ideal candidate has 4–10 years of pharma automation experience, hands-on control systems work, and proficiency with Allen-Bradley/Siemens PLCs and SCADA platforms.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of relevant pharmaceutical automation/controls experience
• Strong PLC programming/troubleshooting experience
• Strong SCADA/HMI experience (Ignition, iFix, WinCC, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues on manufacturing equipment; working knowledge of GMP, automation validation, change control, investigations, and data integrity

Responsibilities

• Support automation/controls on the pharmaceutical production floor
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and control systems
• Collaborate on GMP/compliance activities and change controls
• Assist with equipment integration, FAT/SAT, qualification, or capital projects
