Job summary

Stark Pharma Solutions Inc. in New Jersey is seeking an hands-on Automation Engineer to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. You will troubleshoot PLC/SCADA systems, validate automation, and work on capital projects on the production floor.

The role requires strong PLC programming skills, experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens, and a GMP/cGMP environment background. This is a mid-to-senior level position with opportunities for hands-on learning.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical automation/controls experience.
• Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Allen‑Bradley and/or Siemens PLC systems.
• Strong SCADA/HMI experience with Ignition, iFix, or WinCC.
• Experience with GMP/cGMP manufacturing environments.
• Industrial networking and automation communication protocols knowledge preferred.
• Experience with sterile manufacturing or filling lines highly preferred.
• Equipment integration, commissioning, FAT/SAT, qualification or capital projects.

Responsibilities

Job Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Automation/Controls Engineer to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has a strong PLC/SCADA background within a GMP pharmaceutical environment and is comfortable troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment on the production floor. This is a mid-level opportunity for someone with a solid engineering foundation who is still technically hands-on and interested in continuing to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of GMP, automation validation, change control, investigations, and data integrity.
• Experience with industrial networking and automation communication protocols preferred.
• Experience with sterile manufacturing or filling lines highly preferred.
• Experience with equipment integration, commissioning, FAT/SAT, qualification, or capital projects.
• Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Must be technically hands-on.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
