Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Utility Operations Technician to monitor and maintain pharmaceutical site utilities, including HVAC, boilers, and compressed gas systems. The role requires hands-on maintenance, data analysis, and strong regulatory awareness to ensure safe and compliant operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize energy use, perform routine preventive tasks, and respond promptly to alarms and outages, supporting continuous manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in Utility Operations or related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical sites knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor utility systems, including HVAC, boilers, and compressed gases.
• Monitor equipment performance, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Analyze data to identify improvements and energy-saving opportunities.
• Assist senior operators with complex maintenance tasks.
• Respond to equipment failures, alarms, and outages.
• Maintain records and support corrective actions for non-compliance issues.
