Job summary

Sharp Packaging Solutions, part of UDG Healthcare plc, seeks a Plant Engineer to ensure smooth operation of its pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the Lehigh Valley area. You will maintain equipment, support process improvements, and coordinate capital projects from concept through commissioning.

The role requires innovative thinking and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet regulatory requirements and production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Ability to manage cross-functional projects from concept to completion.
• Knowledge of FDA and cGMP requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and automated systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment/process issues with minimal production disruption.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety while complying with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with Central Engineering and other teams to plan capital projects, write required documentation (URS, FRS, FAT, SAT) and ensure successful commissioning.
