Job summary

Scientific Protein Laboratories (SPL) located in Waunakee, WI, is seeking a Planning Specialist to manage S&OP and production planning processes. The role involves coordinating delivery of customer orders, developing rolling forecasts, and monitoring plan execution to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include creating monthly production plans, coordinating with QA, regulatory, and manufacturing teams, and maintaining BOM and material data.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of experience in production planning, material control, inventory management, BOM maintenance, purchase follow-up, warehouse coordination or manufacturing operation data maintenance.
• Capable of accurately maintaining planning data and tracking variances.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery planning for customer sales orders and demand orders, monitor execution through the order lifecycle.
• Support development and coordination of annual and rolling sales, production, and supply forecast plans.
• Lead coordination of regulatory, quality, and manufacturing activities affecting order fulfillment.
• Assist in organizing S&OP meetings and reviews with Headquarters; prepare materials and follow up actions.
• Develop monthly production plans based on demand orders, inventory, material availability, and constraints.
