Job summary

Qualifications

• TABE testing requirements met at approved grade level.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read simple prose, in a form equivalent to typescript or printing, on subjects within a familiar context.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
• Ability to work independently and/or part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to changing work environments.
• Excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Package products according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), WP's (Work Process) and batch record specifications in preparation for shipping.
• Inspect products for defects to ensure specifications are met.
• Remove defective products for rework or disposal.
• Alert personnel to potential quality issues and stop the line as needed.
• Rotate through all packing functions and maintain expected performance.
• Complete cleaning and 5S duties to maintain a safe, organized workspace.
• Follow PCI Pharma Services, cGMP and GCP policies and wear required safety gear.
• Support and mentor other Packers as needed.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
