Amneal seeks an entry-level Compression Operator in the United States, NY area. The role focuses on setting up and operating compression machinery following SOPs and cGMP standards to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical products.

The 2nd shift runs 3:30pm–12:00am, Monday through Friday, with duties including in-process checks, accurate recordkeeping, and timely escalation of machine issues. OSHA respirator fit test is required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• 1 year or more experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Must complete OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate compression machinery per SOPs.
• Conduct in-process checks: weight, thickness, hardness, friability, tablet weight.
• Initiate cleaning per IPQA procedures; maintain room cleanliness.
• Identify and segregate rejected blends/tablets; ensure quality checks.
• Notify supervisor of machine issues and verify calibration status.
• Document across compression operations and review batch records.
