Job summary

Waters is seeking a Packaging Operator 2 to perform packaging of pharmaceutical products, ensuring cGMP compliance and accurate documentation. This role operates fillers, cappers, labelers, and cartoners, and conducts in-process checks with precise record-keeping.

You will work on the B shift (one week Mon-Wed, next Mon-Thu), 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, from 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM on scheduled days. A high school diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing or packaging are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or packaging, preferably in pharma/biotech.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting packaging machinery.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and quality control principles.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.
• Proficiency with documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery (fillers, cappers, labelers, cartoners).
• Perform setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting per SOPs.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and record results accurately.
• Document all production activities, batch records, and equipment usage.
• Adhere to cGMP guidelines, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized packaging area and sanitation.
• Identify and report deviations, quality issues, or equipment malfunctions.
• Participate in training to enhance packaging process skills.
• Assist with material handling and loading/unloading components.
