This role oversees line setups, changeovers, and production interruptions, coordinating with technical teams to minimize downtime while maintaining cGMP and quality standards.

The Maintenance Supervisor leads and develops Maintenance Mechanics, ensuring maintenance activities

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
At least one year of experience in a Pharmaceutical cGMP Manufacturing setting is required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or consumer healthcare packaging.
May be new to supervising staff but should have some experience managing projects and/or taking lead roles.

Responsibilities

Oversee and execute production line setup activities to ensure equipment readiness and compliance with pharmaceutical packaging requirements.
Manage batch and product changeovers efficiently to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and cGMP standards.
Coordinate response efforts during production interruptions, including engaging technical resources and reallocating personnel to restore operations quickly.
Ensure all production, packaging, and facility equipment operates safely, reliably, and with minimal unplanned downtime.
Monitor equipment performance and initiate corrective actions to address operational issues and improve reliability.
