Planet Pharma is seeking a Packaging Operator to keep assigned production lines supplied with bulk products and components, performing filling and packaging operations. You will load materials, monitor machines, attach hoses, label shippers, and assist with line clearance while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

The role requires basic math, strong English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Competenze

Solid English reading/comprehension, written and verbal communication skills required to follow cGMPs, SOPs and production instructions.
Basic mathematical skills to count components, waste and finished goods.
Ability to safety wear PPE and follow safety initiatives as part of daily tasks.
Ability to take initiative and work autonomously to meet production requirements.

Mansioni

Supply production line with product and packaging components.
Load components or product onto pallets, trays, racks and machines.
Load components on machines and monitor operations for malfunctions.
Attach pumps and hoses to hopper connections as required.
Label perimeter shippers and ensure proper waste disposal and line clearance.
Clean and sanitize work areas and maintain proper housekeeping on packaging lines.
Move materials to designated areas using manual or powered equipment.
Operate multiple packaging lines and maintain communication across shifts.
Report safety, quality and equipment issues to supervision and maintenance.
