Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Material Handler to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials for production. You will support movement, storage, and protection of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within a GMP environment.

Responsibilities include safe material handling, ERP-based inventory updates, FIFO-based lot selection, and maintaining stock to prevent production delays. The role requires 1 year of experience and a high school diploma, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in materials handling.
• Experience with cGMP practices related to ISO standards and medical device manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials safely and orderly.
• Provide logistics support for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Use ERP to record inventory transactions in real time.
• Maintain traceability of raw materials.
• Maintain and organize stock; utilize forklifts.
• Assist with scheduling and staging of raw materials.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and report issues.
• Adhere to schedules, production specs, and quality procedures.
