Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services is seeking a Warehouse associate to assist in all areas of warehouse functions and support production and inspection operations. The role involves moving materials, performing inventory counts, loading/unloading trailers, and maintaining a safe, organized environment on a 12-hour night shift.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of material handling experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to operate a forklift.

  • At least 3 years material handling experience required.
  • Forklift operation experience of 3+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Move materials across Warehouse, Inspection, Production and Molding areas.
  • Perform monthly inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
  • Load and unload trailers for finished goods and semi-finished products.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and safety; keep aisles clear; ensure cleanliness.
  • Support cross‑departmental teams and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Job Summary

This position will assist in all areas of Warehouse functions, as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Manage the movement of materials across Warehouse, Inspection, Production, and Molding areas, ensuring accurate completion of SAP transactions.
  • Perform monthly inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Load and unload trailers, including finished goods for customers and semi‑finished products to/from outside storage areas.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and safety by properly stacking materials, keeping aisles clear, and ensuring overall cleanliness.
  • Monitor and replenish copy‑room supplies and manage the recycling processes.
  • Support various warehouse operations and assist cross‑departmental teams, as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.
Education
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Work Experience
  • Must have at least 3 years of material handling experience.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Ability to work from heights.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate the company van.
  • At least 3 years of forklift operation experience.
  • Strong team player with sound decision‑making ability within assigned responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Flexibility and willingness to work overtime, as needed.
  • Reliable with consistent attendance.
  • Capable of performing all essential job duties effectively and independently.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) relevant to the role.
  • Contribution to Lean Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Compliance with the company’s safety and quality policies at all times.
Travel Requirements

5%: Up to 13 business days per year.

Physical Requirements

Light‑exerting up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or negligible force frequently to move objects.

Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to stand, twist, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk frequently.
  • Must be able to work with items weighing up to 40lbs.

Shift
  • D Shift: 12‑Hour Nights on a 2‑2‑3 schedule from 5:45 PM – 6 AM EST.
