Job summary

A leading staffing firm is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a 5+ month contract in Chicago Heights, IL. The ideal candidate will have mechanical experience in manufacturing with skills in repair, maintenance of production equipment, and an understanding of PLC/DCS systems. The position requires strong communication skills and attention to detail, with opportunities for extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of mechanical experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.
• Significant experience with PLC/DCS systems and instrumentation.
• Experience in a GMP environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for repair and maintenance of production equipment.
• Perform tasks in metal fabrication, piping, welding, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Communicate clearly with production operators and engineers.
